Fold
Fold is the website of a made-up 14-person architecture and interiors studio in Copenhagen. The first screen is a dense typographic index of projects, and four flagship case studies pin a 3D clay model beside the text as you scroll. A brief form lets prospective clients describe a project, and filters and before and after sliders help them explore the work.
Will be live at studio.phoenixcodes.org
What it proves
- 3D models generated from simple massing data, with camera positions driven by scroll and by buttons.
- Before and after sliders that work with a pointer and with the keyboard.
- Project filters stored in the address, so a filtered view can be shared.
- A project brief form that stores a lead and returns a reference.
How this adapts to your project
Move the projects into a CMS such as Sanity or Payload, and swap the clay massing models for real ones exported from Rhino or Revit as glTF. Press, awards and open positions can come from live feeds or your applicant tracking system.
